Power of Media

Watching the movie 'Rang-De-Basanti' for the sixth-time today, I couldn't stop myself from scribbling or putting my mind into black and white. This may be because in the years that had gone at many instance there were many thought-process ideas which was there in my mind but later-on they vanish with time, so in true terms I have stopped relying on my memory but this doesn't means that I am under-estimating it because for praise of it I could write pages to explain…
Coming back to the movie for which I intend to write about: 'Rang De Basanti' a movie with all-praise, a remarkable movie and a well-researched movie. The best thing about movie that make me turn into watching it numerous times and praising it is the way it articulates and comprehends the current scenario, the history and the point-of-view of the author.
From every level the movie is well-sensed and real-working thing, it may gets masses turn-out, the movie has really worked the way it was meant to.
The movie is a real patriotic movie with a touch of real-life in it. When I was watching it for the 4th time I saw that the movie is doing something more, a higher task-of possibility with probable chance of redefining, changing and modifying history. In the movie the diary and real-documentary making within the movie comprehends that the British official when alone used to admit their mistake, their act of brutalities towards local, their wrong-doing and admire a passion of locals which might not be the case in the true story.
So with little or no doubts whether my old patronage of saying TV as an idiot box, I admit that the power of media is phenomenal especially the ones with push strategy and could be accessed by illiterates and masses such as TV, movie and radio.
Within years to come I see the Indian-media getting a phenomenal growth so will this mean they would make the world see things as their way and as they want.
