Role of Media

The effectiveness of media using television is not to be forgotten. At time it’s responsibility of the media producers to show the ultimate perspective and persuade on viewers to the right end. The television is available from the richest to many poor families. Television is available to the people who might never have gone to school or could read or write.
The first time screened documentary ‘War and Peace’ played the awakening role showing the viewers some reality being the illusion and emotions. These sorts of documentary should be encouraged and should be shown with the voice-over in native languages to broaden the mind-set of people and show them the reality.
The other Indian movie I should mention here is ‘Swades’. This movie plays the role of intrinsically conveying the problem of brain-drain. This would give a high effective result. This movie also plays the role of promoting equality among human concept.
In my opinion these movies and documentaries should be promoted and aired frequently on television. This is the way we could change the mindset of people.
