We have always been wounded by the politicians. They misguided the poor by their slogans ‘Food, Clothing and Shelter’. Are these the only necessity of the people? This is the way by which they make sure that the citizen should be involved in their day to day activities of just making their living. They do not want them to prosper in long-term and make them know the right path.
I think for Pakistan we need to spread the light of literacy. But the literacy in terms of secular education is not going to prosper the country. As I have seen that people with vast academic background and high-jobs don’t have the right frame of mind. They might not be aware of different hazards and day-to-day activities. There are literate people living in developed cities of Pakistan but still practice dowry and swara customs. So here we need to change the mindset of people.
I think that we should promote literacy, change mindset and spread awareness.
